The Guest Voice Narrator position for Before 21 is offered by Books by Behnke as an Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity. This is not an employee position with Behnke Holdings or any of its subsidiaries.
By continuing, you acknowledge and understand the following:
• Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, contract offer, or selection.
• If selected, you will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement outlining the project scope, payment amount, deadlines, confidentiality requirements, intellectual property provisions, and all contractual obligations.
• Compensation for this project is a fixed contractual amount agreed upon before work begins. This position is not paid hourly, annually, monthly, or per finished hour.
• Independent Contractors are responsible for their own federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, and any obligations related to self-employment.
• Contractors provide their own recording equipment, software, internet connection, and professional recording environment.
• Contractors control how they complete the work, provided they meet all project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
• All recordings, narration, edits, and deliverables created under the agreement become the property of Books by Behnke as outlined in the signed contract.
• Additional agreements, including confidentiality and intellectual property agreements, may be required before work begins.
• Books by Behnke reserves the right to reject any application or discontinue the selection process before a contract is executed.
• Submission of this application does not create an employment relationship or guarantee future work.
